10 Sufi Poems come alive

In this 10 week session we will tap into the same
millieu of the Sufi Mystics who wrote the poems.

A poem will be emailed to the recipient the Monday
preceeding the class.

The Poets highlighted will be:
Hafiz ( Who Goethe wrote , “has no peer”)
Attar of Nishapur (1145 – 1221 ce) saint and mystic, one
of the most voluminous authors in Persian literature on
religious topics.
Muinuddin Chishti  (1141 – 1230 ce) born in Khorasan.
A widely beloved Persian spiritual leader who carried
the Chishti lineage to India.
Baba Kuhi of Shiriz, a Persian dervish-poet
Muhammed Ibn ‘Ali Ibn ‘Arabi  (1165 – 1240 ce) Known as
Muhyiddin (the Revivifier of Religion) and the
Shaykh al-Akbar (the Greatest Master),
and other Sufi Mystics
