Instructor Heidi Maddock

began her yoga journey  in the mid 90’s as she was looking
for a way to alleviate panic attacks and anxiety.
Encouraged and supported by former instructors,
including Bob Vaccaro and Lily Sibley of Ocean Spirit
Yoga, Instructor Heidi Maddock enrolled in the
Yoga Life Institute of NH,   In 2009 she received her
RYT-200 in Classical Yoga under the direction of Julie Rost.

“Yoga has transformed so much of my life,
physically and spiritually.  I’m a lifelong
student in the ancient practice, still learning
and reaping its benefits
!”  says Heidi.

Continuing as a community ambassador,  Instructor Heidi Maddock,
presents annually  at the Women’s Wellness Retreat in Wolfboro NH.
She has shared her love for yoga at various support groups.
She has been a regular guest teacher for the University of New
Hampshire’s Yoga Club since its inception and recently attended
a workshop on Trauma Sensitive Yoga.  Heidi is also certified in Reiki I and II.

RYT -200. RYT is a Registered Yoga Teacher  who obtaines a
credential earned by yoga teachers. Their training and teaching
experience meets Yoga Alliance standards. A RYT must
complete training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS). They
must be approved by Yoga Alliance. They must be up-to-date
with annual fees and Continuing Education.

Heidi offers modifications for all asanas. She encourages
students  to work with the body they have at the present
moment. Instructor Heidi Maddock does suggest the
use of props when a student feels uncomfortable with a
pose.  Heidi operates under the philosophy that  it’s not
about being perfect in the pose but finding peace in the pose.

Heidi's yoga class invites you to ease the body of strain and stress. Beginners to advanced come practice mindfulness. Deep breath. Find natural body alignment. Work at your own pace with Heidi guiding you verbally and physically. No hands on assists.
