Brian Bliss Mindfulness Instructor

Science of Mindfulness Meditation
Brian Bliss, is  an attorney in career transition.
He is training to become a Mindfulness-Based
Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher through the
Mindfulness Center in the School of Public
Health at Brown University.
Brian  is also training to become a specialty
yoga teacher with an exclusive focus on
meditation.

Brian states , “Mindfulness meditation has
changed my life dramatically. My relationship
to myself, my wife, my kids, my job—
everything is different. That’s not to say
it’s 100% roses and rainbows, it’s just that
I’ve learned how to appreciate more and
more moments of my life.”

His teachers include Sally Kempton,
Lorin Roche, and Kate Mitcheom
who in turn have trained with
Swami Muktananda, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi,
and Jon Kabat-Zinn, respectively.Brian Bliss has completed two eight-week
MBSR workshops, multiple meditation
and teaching retreats, and has spent over
1,200 hours in meditation and contemplative
study in the Kashmir Shaivite tradition.
He is eager to share his love of mindfulness
with the community.
