DESCRIPTION:2020Deep Stretch  Yoga is a  brain child of Tom’s which\ncombines the best of all his yoga practices through the\n18 years.\nDeep Stretch  Yoga is a safe way to practice some of the traditional and\nsome of the modern moves of yoga. with out the rapidity to ensure\nno difficulties or harm. No need to compare\, impress or be distracted.\nTom\, offers a soothing yet at times rigorous\nclass but still beginners will be give modifications.\nHis watchful eye will supply props and assists\, which ever is required. \nDeep Stretch Yoga will take you through Vinyasa\, Sun Salutes\, and steady poses\nall from the  traditional yoga but in a gentle and deep stretch pattern.\nThe series of movements are taken from Traditional Hatha\, Ashtanga\nand even a bit of Bikram tossed in also. So in this way  the class is nomadic\nor wandering. \nThe class is a safe way to practice some of the Ashtanga\nmoves with out the rapidity to ensure no difficulties or harm. Tom\, the\ninstructor helps you move slowly and methodically from asana to asana.\nHis watchful eye will supply props and assists\, which ever is required.\nAlthough deep stretch  yoga is helpful for the ‘somewhat’ new yogi\, it is also beneficial\nfor the student of intermediate level ability. All can begin to enter or fully enter\na pose such as Marichiasana\, because of the support of props if needed. Marichiasana\ncan also be a great pose for an advanced student who may need\nthe gentle energy of a finger strategically placed on the spine to get the\nforehead to the knee or to bind. \nDeep Stretch   Yoga also incorporates Pranayama not just at the beginning\nof the class but also throughout\, as Tom reminds the student to move deeper\non the exhaled breath.\nThe instructor may open or close the class with a reading or statement on\nthe Yama or NiYama. He may talk about using chakra energy to help you\nkeep your body aligned. Imagine seeing it and then allow it to occur. \nTom’s style is gentle and kind. You will feel well cared for in his class.\nHe may offer you a blanket when you are in final savasana. He could gently work your shoulders. He is ashtanga experienced. \nWould you not want this to be a place\nwhere you can safely practice yoga?\nGive it a try.\nintensity : moderate \nlevel : beginner to advanced\nThis is a  Far Infra Red class.
