An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Monday, repeating until May 7, 2018
Sahaja-YogaMeditation is a unique method of meditation
developed by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
(1923 – 2011)
and based on an experience called Self Realization
that can occur within each human being.
By awakening the kundalini (mothering energy)
an inner transformation takes place by which one
becomes balanced and integrated mentally, emotionally,
physically, and spiritually. Like the sprouting of a seed it
is a natural, living experience. Sahaja means “born with”
and yoga is “union” or “connection.” Sahaja Yoga does
not physical exercise and no previous experience is
necessary. Sessions are led by Jerry Mayfield. For
nearly 20 years Jerry has voluntarily shared Sahaja
Yoga Meditation in universities, libraries, prisons,
rehabilitation facilities, community centers, street
fairs, and once in a mid-town Manhattan elevator
stuck between floors.
The class is taught by long time Instructor
Don’t find an excuse to stay away on Monday
It is the 21st century. Why aren’t you meditating?
