chemicals in your body as if it were real laughter in the
Laughter Yoga Workshop.
Laughter Yoga will begin with a warm up to provoke the places deep in your body
that you ordinarily experience thru laughter. Chanting and movement
will take you there. Breath Work( pranayama) is explored in various
positions to open the lungs and move you easily into deeper breath.
Though at first, you may not feel anything is funny you can begin
to explore all the cathartic body releases of laughter. The full benefits
of laughter will actually take place. The workshop will use eye contact.
Feel enthusiasm and feel emotional growth through social play, release
Kim will lead show how laughter yoga is a natural ,powerful fun way
to heal. Heart disease symptoms and high blood pressure can be relieved
in one session. You enter the mind barriers through the body.
Beneficial hormones are released. Oxygen ( fuel for the body) is increased.
You can develop the muscles essential to deep diaphragmatic breathing and
continue to breathe deeply after class.
Warning: You may find you sense of humor
is returned , no longer constricted.
You may not have been able to meditate
but you may now find it easier and
less of a task. same chemicals that
are anti-stress chemicals
which will relax you.
Kim, a disciple of Dr. Kataria will use some
yoga asanas to stimulate deep therapeutic
laughter that will also begin to create
neuron pathways in the brain that she calls
‘ the happiness factor’. Anatomy of Illness has
both scientific and empirical data supporting
the positive healing effects of laughter.
