Beginning Lalanga & Hemitathanti
Yoga is for the beginner who
wants to have gentle stretch
and deep relaxation yoga.
You may bring your baby as long as it is not walking.
Or come with your 12 year old.
You may participate to enjoy
the Lalanga & Hemitathanti Yoga.
One hour class of gently directed breath,
stretch, BAM*, and final savasana ( deep
Because of the relaxed setting all teaching
is casual and you are invited to share what
you need for the hour.
As a result flexibility if fostered in the class.
Learn to be flexible with others and yourself.
This results in taking the yoga practice off the
mat so you can learn to relax more in your
everyday life. When bringing your new baby,
you also learn how to be okay with your child’s
frustration so you can console the baby and be
patient with her/him.
BAM is body awareness hybrid yoga where you
move the body in gentle subtle ways
to encourage listening to the body.
We pulse and pause to listen. It is automatic
with your concentrative mind called upon
with the initial breath.
