Duane’s All Level Kripalu Yoga class does offer
a wide and varied
vocabulary of asanas (poses).
Come attend a
class with Duane.
Come often enough to

notice the variety of poses which work
the same muscles, giving the mind a sense
of variation. Each class is different every
time however the same temperment is
acheived, PEACE and calm. It is Duane’s
deliberate and wise intention to maintain
When variety is introduced the mind
does not get bored and this is what
helps keep the mind’s attention present
and connected to the body. Duane’s All Level
Kripalu Yoga instructs a greater purpose
than routine. His intention is to offer variety
as a way of keeping his attending yogis
on guard, alert and present. The yogis
cannot rush ahead in routine. They cannot
let their mind wander less his next
action will be missed. This alertness is
the greater purpose of practice with
Duane’s All Level Kripalu Yoga.
On the physical level classes also vary
from gentle through moderate,
never extremely vigorous. Poses vary
from classic poses as taught
by B.K.S Iyengar to simple exploratory
stretches as discovered by Duane
along his long Yogic path.
His classes are always geared towards
the participants. This blend can change
from week to week so please do let
him know your experience level upon your arrival.
Union (Yoga) of mind
and body is encouraged in Duane’s
All Level Kripalu Yoga,
as most excellent instructors do.
Through movement and poses you will
be able to connect the physical brain
and the physical body. As you have
greater and greater success with this
personal Yoga (union), one begins
to experience the Greater Union and
your place in it.
