An event every week that begins at 7:00am on Sunday, repeating until August 28, 2017
Before the park opens, Sunday Ocean Side
Yoga is a go. While the birds are still singing
take a yoga break to feel alive
with a beautiful vista and have
salt air fill your lungs during
pranayama. As long as the weather is
above icy cold. Under the gates to the trail
find your way during this 8 minute
walk which is four tenths of a mile.
Wear your walking or hiking
clothes because you are doing yoga with good solid flexible flat shoes.
The gates are not opened. But you walk under
the gate follow signs to the Pavillion. There you
will find Evalyn in yoga. You can enjoy a nice walk
after if you want.
You will see this post when it is cancelled for natural reasons,
wind or something else.
Most of all remember you are never late for Yoga what ever time you
arrive it is right on time, so you
are welcomed to attend at 7 or 7:30. Can’t be late no matter
what time you arrive you are right on time remembering
that a little yoga is better than no yoga and many times
one can get the same results when the desire is stronger
than the obstacles.
Don’t use the excuse that you woke up late
because you are always welcomed to arrive
at Ocean Side Yoga. Just be mindful when you show up.
When there is no strong wind we will have it
beach side other wise come to the studio. It will be
posted each Sunday by 5:30a.m all you have to do
is Mouse over the photo
and get the temp and conditions. You will know whether
Sunday Ocean Side Yoga is on in Ft. Foster or at the studio.
Bring your mat or not. The mats are not necessary. The instructor
will not have a mat but do bring layers and a happy spirit
for yoga by the ocean side. Donations
for YbD class will be dropped in the basket
in the center of the yoga setting.
The class will focus on standing postures , sitting postures
and some reclining or balancing postures. This is happening
on concrete or
on the wooden picnic tables when it seems appropriate. Finally get into the
Chakra Alignment Zone with salted air pranayama and drishti
and asana and deep savasana standing or sitting.
