Brittany’s beginner Kripalu Yoga class is an
excellent introduction for those who are new

how to work through the yoga asanas.

to give you that extra help when needed. She will
show you variations of the pose that best suit your
body type and abilities.
Beginner Kripalu Yoga will
teach you the skills of self-observation without judgment.
If you are a seasoned yogi Brittany will guide you t0
find a deeper connection in your practice. Perhaps
you have been practicing an asana in a way that
prevents you from relaxing in the asana when it is
in its deepest form.
Fully experience yoga with mind, body and
energy. Learn to tap into your own inner-knowing.
With yoga Brittany will show you how to stay in the presence
and in the experience of your body with a mind that is
focused on the body experience. This keeps you out of
thinking mind, therefore it begins to train you to no longer
live in your head.
Brittany will help you hone your
‘self-observation without judgment’
skills throughout the class. You will
gain a greater understanding of
alignment. She builds each pose
from the ground up. There is no possibility to
do the asana wrong.
Brittany will offer various
modifications that you can
do to alter the pose for your body condition.
She will suggest and offer
props throughout the class.
Her gentle teaching
method is about you discovering
what works best for your body, today.
She does this as a guide and
instructor so you are not left
alone to figure out what you need.
Brittany will offer assists in the
poses as you may need and want
them. Therefore providing the
emotional and physical support that you need.
Brittany first took yoga seriously in college.
Brittany continued to practice yoga
throughout college and Physical Therapy
graduate school. As a result she was able
to stretch and strengthen her body while
calming her busy mind. Yoga helped
Brittany navigate the changes that
occurred as she began her professional
life as a physical therapist. Her knowledge
of the human body gave her a better
understanding of the alignment principles
of the asanas (postures) and allowed her
to create a deeper connection between
body, mind, and spirit. Attaining calm,
alertness, and presence with others
she interacted with when practicing
yoga regularly allowed her to bring the
practice to her vocation as a physical
therapist. Her patients who practiced
yoga tended to be more in tune with
their bodies and often had a smoother
recovery process. You can read more about Brittany St. Martin here.
